I need an advice on a problem I'm facing with my left and right door mirrors for my MK6.5 facelift mainly due to a snowy weather and too cold temperatures. To sum up, when I open the car, the mirrors are deployed (or unfold) too much like your picture on the step to remove the third screw. It's not always the case but it has 60% chance to happen. Is there something to check to avoid this? I don't want to change the all part. Another question could be how to avoid fold and unfold during winter time?
