Removing washer jets or replacing with mist jets
Washer jet removal is pretty simple on the Mk6, requiring no tools really.

Open the bonnet.
If it's a diesel you will need to remove the heatsield, the plastic covers just pop out (screw driver may help out here).
With it removed we can now remove the piping to the washer jets, its 2 small plastic pipes which simply 'pop off' the jet itself. You can then press on the edge facing towards the car (rather than the sky, with the bonnet open), and pop up the jet itself.
The jets then just push out, and can be sanded and colour coded, or alternatively, replaced with mist jets from Ford Focus mk3. The finis code is:
1708796 non-heated
1708797 heated
Note that heated ones will require wiring to be in place, or made.
